This rustic piece is perhaps more comfortable in an earthy, possibly more primitive setting. Myriad tiny voids in contrasting shapes define its organic persona. Its surface of an unusually iron-like glaze almost begs for touch. Some say it reminds them of old leather, well worn and reminescent of pipe tobacco. Embellished with small medallions, the piece is suitable for hanging indoors, in the garden or display on a stationary surface.

Rich, chocolate brown stoneware with a dark iron oxide/wood ash glaze.

Handbuilt, one-of-a-kind. Includes length of Manila rope for hanging.
