A stoneware tower with surface modulated by screens, geometric patterns of circular penetrations and unglazed medallions... this piece has no function other than being what it is. Its sole reason for being is simply to exist. If you like it, you might enjoy having it where you and your friends, clients, associates can occasionally peruse it and ponder its genesis. If you hate it, you should not spend the money....

In our opinion, this open-bottomed object would be best displayed on a flat surface.

Tan stoneware glazed with a semi-matte, cream glaze breaking to an iron red in large areas.
